Welcome to Proof. By accessing or using our site, app, and services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Use: Proof allows users to upload and analyze images for authenticity. You agree to use this service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws.
2. Data Handling: Uploaded images are processed securely and automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload. We do not retain images beyond this window. Uploaded images are not retained or used for training. Extracted signal data (metadata, physics measurements, behavioral patterns) may be used to improve our models. Sensitive data is never sold or shared without consent.
3. Subscriptions: Proof offers optional paid subscriptions ("Proof Pro") available as monthly or yearly plans. Subscriptions may be billed through the Apple App Store or through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. Prices may vary by region, payment method, and promotional offer, and are subject to change.
4. Free Trials: Certain subscription offers include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
5. Cancellation: For App Store subscriptions, you can manage or cancel at any time in your device's Settings under your Apple ID at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. For Stripe subscriptions, contact support@proofme.ai to cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Refunds: All charges are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time and retain access through the end of your billing period. App Store purchases are additionally subject to Apple's refund policies.
7. External Purchases: Purchases made through Stripe are not processed by Apple and are not subject to Apple's purchase protections, refund policies, or Family Sharing.
8. Free Tier: Free users receive up to 3 image verifications per 24-hour period. This limit resets automatically. Proof reserves the right to adjust free tier limits at any time.
9. Accuracy: Proof provides interpretive outputs based on statistical analysis for informational purposes only. Results are confidence scores, not definitive determinations. We make no guarantees of accuracy, completeness, or legal validity. Do not rely on Proof results as sole evidence for legal, professional, or financial decisions.
10. Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proof's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Proof in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Proof. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
12. Updates: We may revise these terms periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
